Meet...and discuss...have fun some too!
Protocol on "The Author's Club"
Hello Everyone,
I have been away for some time now and have returned to see the group increase its membership as also discuss a variety of issues. We have a good thing going and it is important that we keep it focused. When we created this, we wanted to make this a place where budding authors and publishers could write and discuss, primarily with the twin objectives of getting assistance with publishing as well as leveraging this as a platform to promote their books.
In view of that, I propose that the following guidelines be followed:
- All postings should be related to books. That includes videos, photographs, blogs and posts
- Please do not include personal photographs and videos unless connected to book launches, etc.
- Please refrain from personal attacks or any derogatory statements
- Do not write sentences that have all capital letters
- All blogs and forum discussions must be revolved around books
- Book reviews are allowed
Other members are invited to discuss these points before they are adopted so that we can enforce these guidelines and make this a fun place for people to visit.
